There is no specific remedy for tonsillitis, but when experienced fever, are advised to consume drugs pain reliever such as ibuprofen or paracetamol. If more than one weeks failed to heal inflammation, consult a doctor, as it could be the cause of the inflammation is a bacterial infection. The doctor will usually recommend taking any antibiotics to overcome bacterial infections
