The main focus of the hospital is surgical treatment of carcinomas of the mamma, the gastrointestinal tract, the endocrine glands and the musculoskeletal system. This includes multimodal therapy of the primary tumors but also of tumor metastasis and recurrency. In the case of breast carcinomas, innovative diagnostic tools such as NMR, Laser-assisted mammograms, and 3-D-sonography are used. Moreover, we have implemented the use of Sentinel-node detection for therapy planning and tumor prognosis at the hospital. We provide the latest, most effective treatments for breast cancers including access to participate in clinical trials that evaluate promising new therapies.
